One of the perks of having been the official blogger for lots of Ireland’s top literary and arts events (including Listowel Writers’ Week, Frank O’Connor Short Story Festival, Dublin Writers’ Festival, Cork Spring Literary Festival, Dublin Book Festival and Dublin Theatre Festival) is that I got to meet a host of brilliant and inspiring writers – and, when I was really lucky, I got to interview them also.
