Earlier this week, I had the pleasure of launching the Dublin UNESCO Citywide Read at the gorgeous National Library in Dublin – one of the city’s landmarks that feature in The Book of Learning.
I was joined by six faithful readers; Erica, Lucy, Matthew, Mia, Maia, and Abby. There was a photo shoot, a reading, and an interview for News2Day on RTE2, followed by much tea and cake. Here are a few of my favourite shots from the day…

Hi Elisabeth,
You are a busy woman at the moment. It’s all very exciting. I’m busy with my son who is running has drama school Auditions and it’s all a bit tense. But exciting too. Still writing. Still haven’t managed a first draft. The draft zero thing I just can’t seem to do. I keep chipping and changing and rewriting. Going to try plotting a bit more.
Wrote a flash fiction I’m going to enter into a comp. I have not really done flash before. Found it strangely liberating.
I hope you are having fun promoting your book. I really enjoyed it. Ebony is a great character.
Love,
Rosy xxxxx

The draft zero thing doesn’t work for everyone but you’ll find your way. Flash fiction is really liberating, and you’ve just reminded me that I haven’t written any in ages! Hope the auditions go well – I admire anyone who can act or sing. I find it terrifying! Keep smiling 🙂 x
